〰️
We Believe 〰️
We believe birth support is both an art and a discipline—rooted in presence, preparation, and respect for each family’s unique journey.
We believe Doulas should graduate from a certification program equipped to work alongside medical providers, support emotional and physical well-being, and hold birth and postpartum spaces with clarity, professionalism, and ease.
Meet the Founder
Birth With Ease™ was founded by Erica, a seasoned doula trainer, maternal health leader, and advocate with nearly two decades of experience in birth work. Since 2006, she has supported over 1,000 families and spent the last 10 years training the next generation of doulas to practice with confidence, clinical awareness, and professional integrity.
Erica has worked alongside hospitals and statewide maternal health initiatives, serving on the Ohio Doula Advisory Group and multiple regional coalitions dedicated to improving birth outcomes and strengthening doula integration within healthcare systems. Her leadership bridges community-based birth work and institutional collaboration.
Through Birth With Ease™, Erica is committed to elevating the standard of doula education — preparing professionals who are equipped not only to support families, but to influence the future of maternal care.
Listen up.
Erica recently joined the Grow Your Wellth podcast to talk about the heart of doula work — and how the same principles that support women in birth can empower us in life and leadership.
This episode explores what it really means to be “strong” — not by pushing harder, but by being deeply supported. I share how the foundations of doula care — emotional safety, nonjudgmental support, advocacy, and presence — are exactly what women are craving in business, motherhood, and every major life transition.
Whether you’re considering becoming a doula or simply curious about how this work can shape the way we show up for others, this conversation is a beautiful reminder that we don’t have to do it all alone.
