*An important note on Finding a Doula
Doulas are not licensed professionals therefore doula certifying requirements are not the same across the board. Take time and be thorough when interviewing your doula.
Cincinnati Doula Network (local doulas)
TRICARE will only cover TRICARE-approved doula certifying organizations.
Carrot Fertility has specific guidelines for qualifying doulas.
Ohio Medicaid will cover doula services with State of Ohio certified doulas.
Doula Certifying Organizations provide a listing of their certified doulas in a directory. If you do not see a particular doula listed, that means their certification has either lapsed or they did not complete certification.
Smaller/local certifying organizations may not provide a directory.
