Meet the Nurture Team

Erica is a CAPPA certified labor doula and faculty doula trainer; childbirth educator, and certified midwife assistant. She is waterbirth credentialed, and has advanced
education in hypno-birthing, early lactation care, adult and child CPR and is NRP certified. Erica is also a published poet, author, and speaker. Erica has served over 1000
families in her tenure as a doula and childbirth educator since 2006. She has held board positions with the Cincinnati Area Doula Society, the Buckeye Birth Coalition, International Cesarean Awareness Network, and the Dayton Area Labor Support.

A University of Dayton alumnus, Scott holds an MBA and a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Scott served as Plant Manager, GM, VP of
Operations and Senior VP of Sales and Equity Partner, touching every aspect of business from plant floor operations to board-room strategy. He is also a pilot and elected President of the Board of Trustees of Washington Township (Ohio’s fourth largest).
Scott is the backbone of Nurture and the reason our studio spa runs so smoothly & effectively.

Gigi Pereira M.Ac., LAc.
Licensed Acupuncturist
Gigi specializes in women’s fertility and reproductive health. Her passion lies in helping people live their best lives through an integrative and holistic approach to health and wellness. Gigi is licensed by the State Medical Board of Ohio, she holds a Master’s in Acupuncture from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in Gainesville, FL, and is triple board-certified through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Gigi believes in supporting your journey as you envision it, and feels honored to join the team at Nurture!

Jessica received her Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2009. She worked as a critical care RN at Cincinnati Children's for eight years and as an RN in the special care nursery at Bethesda North Hospital for four years. She is passionate about providing relatable, down-to-earth information to help make breastfeeding successful and enjoyable.

Elizabeth Krieger

Elizabeth graduated from NKU in 2009 with a BS in Nursing. She previously worked at Cincinnati Children's in the Pediatric ICU for 5 years and for the last 4+ years has been at The Christ Hospital in Special Care Nursery and Postpartum. She is passionate about all things pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum and can't wait to be a part of your special journey in whatever way she can.

Julie Clevidence,
BS, BS, MA

Julie completed her BA (Psychology) and BS (Biology) in 1995 and
MA in Medical Anthropology in 2000.
Julie began her career in postpartum and post menopausal research at the Women’s Health Research Center at University of Cincinnati, and worked at P&G in post menopausal osteoporosis R&D and project manager at an IRB. In 2006 Julie certifirfthrough DONA. In 2009 she co-created CADS (Cincinnati Area Doula Socity) and held a board position for many years.

Anna Orr-Lamping, CLD
Primary Nurture Doula & Educator
Anna is a certified Pro-doula labor doula. Anna is also certified in NRP, CPR and First Aid. Anna provides gentle, compassionate, and educational support through your birth. As a primary doula at Nurture, Anna looks forward to providing the individualized support and attention you deserve throughout your pregnancy.

Cheryl Bartone, MS, CLD
Primary Nurture Doula,
HypnoDoula and Educator
Cheryl graduated from UC College of Medicine with a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and has worked for The Christ Hospital in a research setting. She is a certified CAPPA labor doula and certified Hypnobabies® Instructor and Hypnodoula. As a primary labor doula at Nurture Cheryl looks forward to working with you and supporting you in your birth, as you define it.

Eileen Ryan, Doula
Nurture Doula Mentor & Grand-Parenting Instructor
Eileen brings over 35 years of experience in working as a birth and postpartum doula. She has been a La Leche League leader, parent educator, doula mentor, and board member of the Cincinnati Area Doula Society. Eileen is a primary doula mentor at Nurture. When not working Eileen is an avid gardener and enjoys spending time with four children and her three grandchildren.
